Lonely

Today 12/30/10 - 1 day befor New Years Eve.

Sometimes at 6:00 am in the morning it seems so quiet and lonely.  I find my self staring at the stars or the moon if they are visible.  Other times I just see something different.  This was one of those different days.  I saw this and had to take the shot.  That road seems so desolate and quiet, lonely and deserted.

Today is the last day of work for me this year.  Next time I walk into work it will be 2011 and I will work for 1 day and take 4 off.  My mother is having a hip replaced and I need to be home to help the family.  Today is bright and shining, compared to the picture.  I plan on having a great New Year in 2011.  At least as much as one can plan that.  Maybe even try to take a picture a day and see where that leads me.
